1. Alphonso

2. Dusharia

This is one of the most popular varieties of mango in North India. This is very tasty, very common. It has the highest yield in the area of Malihabad in Uttar Pradesh.

3. Chausa

It is very sweet and golden yellow in common taste. It is usually available at the end of the summer season.

4. Badami

It is also called 'Alfonso of Karnataka', because it matches the taste and the Alfonso is very good. Talking of sweetness, Badami aam also has no match. It is best suitable in mango shakes.

5. Lame

It is mainly grown in Banaras district of Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the most popular mangoes in India. It is a common green coming from May to August and its size ranges from medium to large. It does not have fiber in its pulp, it is light yellow and keeps good smell after ripening. It is much sweeter and soft than other varieties. Its seed is flat and round shape. It keeps the light color even after cooking, while the other varieties become yellow after ripening.

6. Totapri

It can be easily identified due to its beak-like tip. It is not very sweet in taste, but it is quite suitable for salads, pickles, and cold drinks. Due to the beak and color of the mango of this variety, it is called Totapuri or Totapri mango.

 7. Saffron

Junagadh area of Gujarat is very famous for saffron mangoes. This mango is known for its delicious test and aroma of saffron. If you are fond of amaras, then this is most suitable for the common man.

8. Himsagar

It is a yellow fiber-rich creamy, which is very suitable for making sweets and drinks. It's yield mainly in the Murshidabad region of Bengal. It is available for a very short time.

9. Bangapali or Safida
